Most nature attractions in Borneo are located remotely from the city, which may need hours of travelling to reach
the destinations. However, from Pandan Beach, Lundu, there are many famous tropical gems reachable within an hour,
or just sligtly more, enable tourists to encounter spectacular rare natural features within short
traveling period.

Gunung Gading National Park is
well-know as the home to the world’s largest flower, the Rafflesia. Gunung Gading sprawls across
four jungle-clad mountain peaks, and its dense primary rainforest is criss-crossed by crystal clear
streams and waterfalls. Those wishing to stay longer can enjoy Gunung Gading’s other
attractions – particularly its rainforest scenery, waterfalls and jungle
trails.

Fairy Cave and Wind Cave lay majestically along the hilly limestone range in the
Bau District. The Fairy Cave possesses unusual stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousand of
years which represents Buddhist deities. Not far from Fairy Cave is the Wind Cave, an
“air-conditioned rendezvous” with its dark atmosphere occasionally accompanied by cool
breezes.

crocodiles, sun bears, civets and bear cats, and three large aviaries featuring hornbills, eagles,
kites, storks and a host of other birds native to Sarawak.

Jangkar Waterfall, hidden in the
rainforest, is the largest waterfall in Southern Sarawak.
There are several levels of

to amaze visitors and some even describe it as heaven.

Bidayuh Salako Long House in Kampung Pueh - 35km from Pandan (app. 30min

Some of the villagers in Kampung Pueh are
still living in the only longhouse still standing in the village. Unlike Iban and Bidayuh longhouses which
are built on high stilt, the Salako longhouse is relatively low. The village offers visitors with
an excellent, warmth and friendly hospitality along with nature at its best. Preferably to go in
group to participate in activities.
